Anna had an amazing (and exhausting) few days this weekend shooting for the New York 48 hour film project competition. Staying awake for two days straight, Anna worked with an incredible team to direct a seven minute short film that was written, shot, edited and scored in just 48 hours. Epic.
This week Anna had the pleasure of directing two new short pieces for Ruddy Productions’ ‘Untapped Talents’ at the John DeSotelle Studio Theatre in Manhattan.
Written and directed by Anna, the film is currently looking for funding with an aim to start shooting in early 2017.

This month Anna has been working as the Associate Director for the launch of independent media company, Matter Studios, with their event Matter presents: Total Power Move. Matter work with diverse, visionary, entrepreneurial voices to give them the financing and creative support to develop different media products under their own brands. Needless to say, it was an incredible night.
‘Director Anna Loyd Bradshaw has taken a leaf out of Christopher Guest’s book, finding authenticity through delightful awkwardness and simplicity.’

‘The success of the film lies in its understated subtlety. Without overly exaggerating the characters… the cast and team create a recognizable scenario with figures that are at once familiar and laughable.’
Happy Yummy Chicken review from DC Metro Arts
